    try it yourself but its always worked for me is,,with the butane type,like a Bic,,when its completely empty to where it just will not light,if yea take the metal guard off you will almost always get around 10 plus more lights out of it,very small flame but it certainly has worked for me,,thank you again for this knowledge you have given us.
