Stop HDD to Vibrate

i haven't try it but 3 star for the creativity...

I used rubber from my old underwear and I hung the disk.

Put a sponge and some dry wood in the center of your computer console so you dont hear a clicking noise that shouldnt even be there. The noise is most probably from aging and it being old, even though it doesnt look it. SURELY the sponge and the wood wont catch fire and my computer wont burst into flames -.-

I've solved this noise once (my old PC), I used a small soft wire to hung it in the case,..urrrr like a hammock, or babe cradle.... U cannot hear any noise. Moreover, It's convenient for thermal convection.

i use to have my x2 HDD Vibrate but all i did was get some new screws for them and put small rubber washers on the side were the screws goes into the HDD and no Vibration now :)

but what was the point in cutting the sponge in 2 then putting both pieces back together am i missing something ???
