The common toothpaste can work wonders when a person is stung by insects like bees or wasps. Immediately apply a coating of toothpaste around the affected part and also wherever reddishness or swelling appears. You will experience a cool feeling but never try to pull out the sting as the poison sac could break. Allow the toothpaste to dry and then just peel it off. The sting in most cases will come off with it.
