Some of the most expensive and trendiest real estate in Portland lies in the Pearl District, along with some of the city's best restaurants and nightlife. Home to thousands of condos and lofts with great views, "the Pearl" is a magnet for those wanting the upscale urban life. You won't find houses in the Pearl, but just about everything else. One bedroom condos typically start in the upper $200s. Two bedroom condos priced near or more than $500,000 are common. And of course, larger properties cost closer to $1 million or more.
