If I decided to have kids myself, they would be raised in a completely non-relgious house. I feel that is a choice they should make on their own.. however they wouldn't be shut in the dark either. I would explain to them their choices and when they reach 15-20 years old they can choose something they want to practice.

I don't feel it is right to try to raise any child extremely Christian, or extrememly Jewist, or extremely anything. You can raise them that, but don't condemn them to what you choose. You get nuts like this when you do that.
