'Soccer' Came from the english sport, Football, the americans just re-named it because they already had a sport called Football.
Soccer is for everyone, idiot.
this is a good movie but,the kung fu hustle is way better.

FUNNY
Giving shao lin a bad name
Please watch the whole show 1st to get the story right before making any remarks. Also, just like Quentin Tarantino, Stephen Chow makes a lot of historic references and researches to his movie, so it is important to buck up on your knowledge before you watch a film.
1st and foremost you need to know is chinese martial art, particularly shaolin. The "wind" that blows on the villain's hair is actually the the "qi" or "chi" from the kick. Also, in Shao Lin the trainees get to choose their own Shao Lin skill specialisation, and for this character Stephen Chow is acting on specialises in the so-called "Powerful Gigant Legs" which in the show it portrays in the way that these inheriters of the Shao Lin skills have trained the skills to a high level, hence Stephen choose to exaggerate the movements so to give visual sensation from the impacts of the skills.
This show is widely recognised in the chinese film industry as a breakthrough in kung-fu, action and special effects films, before the "Kung-Fu Hustle". The story is good, too.
yes big break through in chinse comedy film
By indianasshole 1170073567 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWell, there is many Chinese internal martial arts out there varying in interpretation of the concept Chi/Ki/Qi. I know of the concept of extending Qi in Aikido, but some books never actually specify how it would manifest, like "wind", or other forms. Also, the practice of Qigong, widely used for healing purposes, is well known in China and uses heat as means.
By dragon23 1163806708 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Remove"Qi" is manifested from the diaphram. It is similar to singing, by which you can "push" the "Qi" (air) to either your abs, chest, throat, nose or head and synchronising it with your voice to form projection from the particular area you use (for example, if you "push" it to the head, what you sing will be termed 'head voice'). Saying so, the mastering of "Qi" and utilizing it is not something one can achieve in a short period of time. The only way to train the utilizing of "Qi" is to meditate and keeping on attempting to "push" and synchronise with your body movements. Meditation, in this sense, is extremely important as it will improve your stamina and how much you can feel the "Qi" travelling within your body.
By weerock 1163822203 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeshould be 'diafram'
By weerock 1163823054 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou're understanding of the word is quite different from texts I've come across. Like in Japan, "Qi" is what encompasses everything, the primordial energy that constitutes the atoms which makes up the human body, or "ki of the universal." People are but a small portion of the "ki of the universal." Think of it as the ocean. A person is only a handful of water encapsulated by a body. To remove yourself from the ki of the unviersal, or not having mind and body in sync, the water (you)become vapid; a rationale why people become sick, or do not heal quickly. By using breathing techniques and meditation, you must focus in the upper navel, where the "ki of the universal" enters and rejuvenates the person and awakens their innate human gifts.
But I agree, Qi practitioners train years to reach a state where they are almost one with their bodies, or as close as it could be.
i thought he wanted to play football he just could of kicked the S**t out of the first one not the hole team wtf

It's the first time I have seen people convert all the dialogue in a Hong Kong movie into English.
Good job to whoever did it.
This is just part of the movie. The end of the movie is more attactive.

Hey guys, I usually don't do stuff like this, but you gotta check out this site that I have been using for a couple months. It's called TreasureTrooper. They pay you to fill out simple offers, take surveys, signup to receive trial products, etc. It's provided some nice extra spending cash for me, but it is also a lot of fun... it's pretty unique how they have it set up. There's a lot of interaction with the admin
