      Ok, I was a bit hasty in my endevor to be a smart ass, what you demonstrate will work, if there is adaquate signal strength avalible. In remote areas it takes more than a pice of wire to collect enough signal to get a decent picture, and I erroneously assumed that anyone with a smattering of knowledge concerning antenna theroy would be aware of this fact. i am sorry I offended you. I will try and remember hat there are real people on the other side of this monitor, and we do not all have the same experinces and knowledge. I must be more tollerant of those who point out somthing that is obvious to the well informed tech.

      This technique has only being tried in an urban area, i never live out in a country or whereever you're from so i didnt know it cant really work there.
      Basically This do the same job as your regular antenna, the both collect radio signals and transmitt it to you television.
