  cause that would mean the price of the tripod goes up. I've been using a trick kind of like this for years, but I cut the rubber band and tie one end to a pen and the other to the tripod. Great video!

So nice of you to share the info.
Pans have been frustrating. After using professional fluid head tripods then going to consumer grade tripods, pans and tilts are the biggest problem. I had given up on trying to make steady a zoom, tilt, then rack focus.

Vaya payasada...
Tu eres tontolculo tio, fija bien cada segmento del trípode, deja fija la rueda de la maneta y suelta solo el horizontal y haras un pan como dios manda, sin gomas ni tonterías. Otra opción es que te gastes unos dolares y te compres un tripode como corresponde, un manfrotto sin ir más lejos.
Bueno igual es que tienes parkinson y la goma si te sirve.
