  That's not true..he jumped because he thought he saw another monkey inside the mirror. He looked over his shoulder to see if any of his buddies saw him, because they would just keep jumping up and down screeching and making fun of him.
  
  Five years down the line it will still be "Hey guys, remember when old dufus here saw himself in the mirror and jumped back 15 feet?! wahahahaha"
