  First off, I took the comment as something to make it searchable. However, the previous comment below actually asks what's said. Maybe knock on wood isn't a universal thing or they haven't heard of it. Maybe they don't speak English too well. That would explain the gobblty gook characters as probably being from a language other than English, though he did miss the first line.
