getthedaily.com Mobile giant Nokia will purchase software company Symbian for 411-million dollars. Symbian’s software runs two-thirds of the world's smartphones. Once the purchase is complete, Nokia will open up the software to third party companies, and plans to turn the company into the foundation for making royalty-free software. Kodak plans to use a 581-billion-dollar tax refund to help buy-back 1-billion dollars of its own stock, and the announcement of the plan helped Kodak enjoy a 14-percent stock bounce. Analysts have said that if Kodak reinvests in itself, it could go a long way to helping revive their sinking stock. With executives leaving Yahoo by the droves, tons of positions are opening at the search giant, as people are expecting the Microsoft merge to go through and it’s making them insecure about their futures. Yahoo's job site has over 700 job openings right now, including over 550 engineering positions. American Airlines is set to begin testing in-flight internet service on their New York to Los Angeles flights. The service could cost passengers up to 12-dollars-95-cents per-flight to use the Aircell service, depending on the length of the trip. JetBlue and Virgin .....
