  you could attach the scanner thing to a small wipe-erase board & use it over and over; you save paper; it would be environmentally friendly

I would like to add....
..that he is still writing using a pen on paper. Although it is being copied to digital form, he still has a hardcopy on paper. So it kinda makes the product pointless because you can do the same thing with a scanner after you have written it down.

Is this supposed to be new? The minutes
at our board meetings are taken with a pen that reads its own writing without the necessity for a separate module. You just plug the pen into the computer afterward, and it first shows your writing on-screen, then transforms it to a word-file in any font you wish via character recognition.
