This is fake... The bottle isnt on his head.. Its "glued" or something to the tree.
You only get tricked cuz of the camera angle. So the guy who shoots.. actually shoots 1 metre to the guys right... And pass him, on to the botle.. Ofc the bullet could "bounce" from the tree and hit the guy.. So yeah.. its abit dangerous..

It's real alright.
If you hit the pause button and go forward frame by frame you will see that the bottle shatters the very same instant the gun goes off. It is also the right recoil for the weapon. I dont think that a 9mm pistol would produce more recoil than this revolver as a Semi-Auto PISTOL dampends the recoil slightly as the slide moves back to eject and chamber another round or stays back if the mag is empty. A revolver doesnt do that and you get the FULL recoil.

Ya, the video is a fake

1. There is white smoke coming out from the bottle after it is shot, meaning they probably put some black powder inside the bottle and ran a wide inside the stick holding the bottle.

2. After the bottle is shot, there is no hole in the tree. A bullet from that gun would have blown a huge piece from that tree out.

This is set up.
A 9mm pistol would produce more recoil than this gun. It is firing a blank round that will produce a small amount of recoil. A 9mm round would shatter the bottle to pieces and embed itself into the tree. You can see glass dust on the bark created by the explosive charge rigged up and connected to the trigger

Yeah yeah..
Yeah thats fredryk phox, yeah thats fake, and no thats not done with rigged explosives. He already explained it on his site. they played an perspective trick with it, as you can see the bottle was standing on a pole, and they let fredryk stand a few feet away but still in line of the camera, making it look like he was infront of the tree because of the bottle. Atleast.. thats what i remember.. it could have just as easily been an overlayer trick :P but explosives would be overkill.
