Some Things

Im my life, I've seen some things
That really blow my mind.
And in my time, I've learned some ways
to keep between the lines.
But, I find that them ol'lines
are all just wastes of time.
It's true the truth that we all seek
is just a simple rhyme.

I've seen the stars shine,
I feel the atoms that fill the space

In my life, I've felt some things
that shook me to the core.
Disturbing things that made me think
and left me wanting more.
Empty lies, eternal life
controlling in the polls.
Thinking they know everything
because they have a soul.
