Love to see the happines in that old dach,, it's just pure love 4 the dog, not lazyness, that drives this dach-owner to build or buy a contraption like this,, If it's Ur own Inv, then put it in production and make a $/£ or two.. ;-]

That little old dachshund is adorable and the ingenuity of the machine is top notch. An amazing amount of time must have gone into building that and programming the microcontroller, and it's good to see the wee dachsie appreciates it!!!

Have you tried to market this machine? I could see people buying it, and some o the very clever breeds of dog that like a lot of activity and input (e.g. Border Collies) would go wild for something like this. If it rotated to give a randomised angle for use in the garden it'd be even better.

The assumption that this person is lazy cannot be determined just from watching this video. Is it common practice for you to make knee jerk deductions from very little evidence?

At any rate, living in a big city and watching many dog owners pay big bucks to have someone come to their home and walk their dogs while they are at WORK, I could see this being a sensible alternative to keeping your dog healthy.

...by the way, there is nothing lazy about a contraption that makes anything, dog or human, run around all day. I bet this person burned more calories with their brain devising this than someone would burn throwing a tennis ball for weeks on end.
