431 Magnets and a Little Levitation

This is just a thought but to spin that lil' set up you have there,simply glue the same set of magnets but angle them like---> /[] so when they sit on the cd dvd they will hopefully spin.Glue an angled piece of wood or foam or something use your imagination. fyi I thought of things like this many years ago but in different formats..i agree magnets are fun but rare earth magnets and electro,nvm..imangine if you would a tennins shoe or sneaker with the entire sole of the shoe laced in powerful magnets and the shoe the inside of the rubber sepreate the sole from the shoe and walk on air?...I have MANY ideas where these types of magnets everything from shoes to the foundation of homes.many more.Great Video btw regardless.

Thanks for showing. May I suggest using a tripod, so that the subject is in the frame. Also the focus was always out. You might want not to have the camera so close to the subject, and have the background farther away. Good experiment with the magnets. Keep it up.

2 ring neodynmium magnets on that spindle one glued to the spindle, or on the base of the spindle itself, and one right above it, with the opposite pole showing has the same repelling effect, without the attraction.

I did the same thing with less that 30 magnets..

If you space them out to the edge AND increase the # of magnets, it would say aloft.
If you just space them to the edge with the same number of magnets, there's a high probability they would attract instead because not there's not enough total repulsion force.

no, the magnets would be further away and thus creating attraction between the borders of each magnet to the opposite pole of the opposite magnets

maybe it will work better if you put the magnets away from the center of the dvd, i dont really know its just an idea.
