    I've experienced an earthquake in Alaska. The earthquake covered a large area. I'm a stormchaser now, and I can stay out of the path of a tornado. But I still understand why people are scared of both. I definetly wouldn't want to be caught in a category 5 hurricane, not only are the winds strong, but the flooding is a nightmare as well. I experienced Hurricanes Fran, Floyd, and Isabel in N.C. Those things cover a wide area, and they also produced tornadoes. Unchasable ones at that.
