I used 3 batteries of hovering to do this, so hence the cut.I will attempt to catch the fish on the next video on one battery so it wont have to be cut.That said, I still risked my E-Flite Blade 400 for some entertainment for you folks which most found entertaining.I doubt most others would risk their $450 heli just to hover over the water, let alone dangle a line! This scenario shows it may be possible to use the Helicopter for fishing, however it would be expensive fish.It is always terribly windy here, so on this calm day, those simple waves in the water was of no concern to a sunfish!It also helps to have lots of fish, like in our Sand Pit Pond where they bite on hooks with no bait! Actually I used fish eggs and the hook 24" from the bobber.***Caution from past experience***If the Tail rotor hits the water even slightly, it will immediately cause a crash.Big fish can drain batteries fast. It takes and hour to charge between flights of only 6 minutes, so this could be a long process to catch a fish.Sunfish are not big fighters.Fly easy and thanks for watching.     thats awesome nightflyer,good clean fun and entertainment for sure,I've fished the river for bass and had good luck with a remote controll hovercraft,it works good,i have the line attached to my fishing pole that im on shore with and put a quick release on my hovercraft,i troll untill i get one and the line releases from the boat and land it with the pole,your helicopter can work the same way without the chance of a big fish takeing it under,good job

    I learned on and have been flying for a year on the cp pro. I'm thinking of moving to the 400. Is the 400 a little more stable during flight, being a larger heli?

      Well the Blade is only a bit bigger than yours, but it really spins!
      That helps it to be more stable because of the gyroscopic effect from fast, wood blades.
      But it is extremely agile and can flip on a dime too.

    dead fish , dont try to be smart. since the engine was roaring there is very less possiblity to get a fish at that time, besides, the fish didnt move at all.

      It is usually so windy around here, the fish don't care about the heli, as the heli's wind was not making as much waves as my the gas motor in my boat when I am trolling the lake. They bite there just fine too. I guess it is just how hungry they are, eh? Thanks for your comments.
