This one of the most bizarre moments in horse racing history. Nate Hubbard was still a rookie February 3, 1989 and got too close to my dads horse which caused him to stumble. After that it is pretty self-explandatory. Enjoy and please check out my film on the same subject.

It is very clear the jockey is strong, agile and athletic!
I'd like to see this video edited to show someone famous like the Queen of England, President George W. Bush or Hilary Clinton at the very end speaking as though they were the rider! If you search high and low, you may be able to find a news clip which would fit nicely....... or be able to dub in the voice with the lip movement to make it appear as they were the person talking!

This one piece of horse racing history will probably go down as my dad's most seen performance as he was the rider that won the race. Nate Hubbard is also the only jockey in history to finish in the winnings while not actually riding the horse from the saddle!

I've seen this about a dozen times on national TV shows like "Most Shocking" and "TV's Funniest Videos". Non of them have ever had the voice over that described what was going on. The winning jockey, Tom Chapman, is a friend of mine and I know he just hates being called "Tommy" as Sam Spear did on his show.
