My name is Andrew Hertzog. For several years I have dabbled in the art of film production. Recently, film has turned from a hobby to a career path for me. I greatly enjoyed working on this commercial. I have a home in the 1000 islands and love nature so, this competition allowed me to show one of New York's many beautiful environments. This commercial was shot entirely by myself on location. I spent a couple days hiking around the woods and different locations to get the footage seen in the commercial. The birds were the most difficult part. They don’t stay still and ultimately the only way for me to film them was to wait a considerable amount of time for the perfect shot. The end graphic was also custom made in Photoshop from different nature shots.
