Yes. Now Windows XP has that same capability as Windows Vista. In Vista you have the option to select only a few kind of video formats to utilize as your desktop. If you download the B.S. Player from www.bsplayer.org, you can set any video file as your desktop wallpaper without closing any opened applications. This video tutorial of mine has some simple instructions how to enhance your desktops own capabilities. Give it a try and feel free to leave a comment. Sorry for the poor quality, for some reason it would not display the video file of the player in camstudio and other desktop recording software. Enjoy ;)
