cool but theres a downside.
nobody really walks around carrying a wooden wedge or a long metal shaft.

so i didn't have a wedge or a metal rod so this took me much longer...an hour and a half...but after several failed attempts with a stretched out wire hanger my friends and i started using branches...we used a hammer to pull the door away from the car andddd we rubber banded a safety clip that we shaped like a hook onto the end of a branch and pulled the lock up...but never would have though to do any of it without this video so thank you!!

Easier way
Just cut a small hole out of the top of a tennis ball, put the hole over the lock and with the palm of your hand hit it firmly and the air pressure will force the lock open.
