Sly was a koala that had been attacked by a dog, (a boxer breed). At first his wounds didn't look too bad, but koalas have very slow metabolism (4 times slower) and there for, are slow at healing. After a week of being in care and on a course of antibiotics, Sly's wounds broke down and became infected, the results are what you see here.
