  Try more like tortured, by having a ring placed in the bears nostril then being attached to a chain. When the bear doesn't do what he is instructed to do ( by his so called master) this chain is then pulled on very hard try this your self on your own nose see how it hurts

  Is this supposed to be better than a ring through the nose? Cruelty comes in many forms but this is just another justification... People who excuse one form of cruelty in that it's better than an other are hiding from the facts. Simply because we walk upright and have some kind of thinking capacity does not give us the right to treat other animals this way. However if you look at how we treat some other people you begin to wonder what the hell we are!

  Overcrowded, yes. But this is obviously an Asian Zoo, so petition their laws.
  
  The rest is just training. The Bears think their cute behaviors get the treats, and it works. The Bears have plenty of fat on them, so I doubt they are underfed.

my comment because you don't agree...but I'll just keep putting it back in. You PETA freaks are insane! This is no different than what your dog, your cat, and yes, even your fish do to try and get you to toss them a snack. None of those bears was undernourished because they are all fed a healthy diet. This only proves that some of them have learned behaviors that result in humans throwing them extra treats.

Out in the wild, these bears would never live in this proximity to one another. Why? Because if they did they would be tearing each other's throats out for survival and to maintain their hunting territory.

Get over it. Those bears are simply adapting to their environment.

  Your dog or cat doesn't live in an overcrowded bear pit and have to beg for food.
  Obviously in the wild it wouldn't happen because as wild animals they would be territorial and protect. I personally would have put all of these bears down. They will never be released into the wild, they will always be a problem especially when they get older, and it would stop mindless idiots from having fun laughing at them...

  is regulated by government agencies that try to control numbers of animals so that overpopulation of a species does not result in an inadequate food supply. At least in the US that is the goal of the agencies involved. but Bear, cougar, and othe nocturnal hunters are difficult to count. So we depend on these agencies of the government to do the best they can, and keep populations in balance by licensing a certain number of kills each year, thereby protecting food supplies and thus perpetuating the species.

One of the great creatures of the woods
reduced to the status of a beggar. Yep, that's sad. But no sadder than watching him rip a deer apart and eat its belly before it dies. If they were underfed, they'd be fighting for the food being tossed. Bears are pigs when it comes to eating.

Why exactly is this sad? It looks like they're in a compound, possibly a zoo. That doesn't mean they're not taken care of. People are willing to give them food and the animals are willing to perform for it. Looking at the weight of those animals, they're obviously not being neglected.

I keep my dog well fed (too well fed as a matter of fact) but she still does silly tricks if I have a treat for her.

That is WAY too many bears in such a small place, and there is nothing that is even close to the wooded enviornment that the bears come from. It saddens me to think that these people enjoy this so much, those poor bears will never know what they are supposed to be doing.
