Georgian Warriors [13+]

No actually they used real aviation. Tu-22 was shot down near Gori. Russia first denied this fact but after captured pilots were shown on national television, they admitted(pilots were later exchanged in Georgian prisoners). They actively used su-24 planes, helicopters in tskinvali region as well as in kodori valley. maybe they didn't use mig29; su27 and others, but against whom? whole our aviation consists of 10 su 25 ; and about 30 old russian helicopters+10 old American Iroquois.



georgians won most of ground battles in tskinvali, (even russian general khrulov was seriously wounded, and his troops destroyed).
our army left the city only after it became evident that russians were going to attack capital from 3 directions. from western georgia, from armenia and from tskhinvali region.



there were almost no civilians in the city, when our troops pulled in. they were evacuated 2 weeks before the war(if you don't believe, you can check archives of russian television). we had no choice, georgian villages around tskinvali were shelled by russian mortars each and every day for over 15 years. someone had to put the end to all this mess...(just don't tell me that "south osetia" is a motherland of osetians. no south osetia existed ever. this autonomous republic was created inside georgia by soviet union. there is even natural border, which separates georgians and ossetioans(russians). this is Caucasian gorge. only thing that links "south osetia" with russia is F**king roki tounel, which was built inside the mount in soviet years.);





you mentioned that russia can reap us from the map, so can u.s send your country under the mideterenian.(this is all about desire and quantity of nuclear warheads)...

i thought it was logical that greeks defend our position, because they have similar situation, similar enemie in Cyprus. but i guess i misunderstand something.

If you were an average american i wouldn't have been surprised that you know so little about history, but you are a successor of great hellenic nation, so you should know better. Anyways, since you dont know, go and read some history or at least go read Wikipedia before you say stupid things and show that you are just another victim of russian propaganda who has no frickin clue what really happened in 08.08.08. Georgians, a tiny nation, who have fought their way through centuries and who have outlived many empires and are still on the map - you call us running chickens??! You fakin greek dum ass.. From the other hand, i've never heard of greeks being so fakin heroic.. it's difficult to oppose you. we have shamefully lost this war, but one thing is worth to mention is that we won each and every Battle on the ground.

the reason of our defeat is that we didn't have good air support and serious air defence systems. russian tu-23(designed to penetrate nato's air defence) , su-24 etc. were shelling our positions with all kind of bombs includin cluster ones. "iskander" and "tochka" missiles were falling behind front line, destroying strategic infrastructure inside the country. +we couldn't do anything about their uragan and smerch missiles(they have very long range). their artillery and aviation did the most of the job.
