I acually witnessed this guy play at the tropicana hotel in Las Vegas. This clip is the least he can do. He's actually an amazing performer. Did so many other mind boggling acts. Highly recommend that anyone who goes to Vegas check this guy out.

Just got back from Vegas and this is REAL! He can juggle tons of stuff, very fast and did this act with a xylophone. This guy also just performed for the Queen of England....so there. He is AWESOME! Very funny too! Someone made a comment about him not getting laid, but must be more of a man than some, because he is married with twin girls!!!

you can see it's fake at 1:33! when the note sound is the same, but the ball hit in diferent location! anyway he is very good, great comedian and skilled hands.

Go see him in Vegas he puts on a great show at Planet Hollywood He is the host of the "V" Variety Show. I just saw it a couple of weeks ago he is really really good.

This video brought back many happy memories for me. The juggler's name is something like Wally Eastwick, not 100% sure of the Eastwick, and he had an act during the Folies Bergere at the Tropicana Hotel in Vegas. The first time I saw him I was amazed and went back the second time a year later hoping he was still there. He was and was as great as the first time. The last time was probably 4 or 5 years ago. Anyway, he is for real and the best!

I was living in Montreal a number of years ago and I went to the St Denis theatre for the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and saw him. It's a specially designed keyboard but other than that it's real.

I saw him perform last week (10/15/2006) at the Aladdin Hotel

I saw his act just a week back in V-Ultimate variety show in Alladin casino, Las Vegas. I even took a pic with him. I was in the front row seat and saw the whole act real close. This guy is real hilarious and talented. It was just amazing.

In sec. 94 he plays the same note in two different places. (It does it constantly, but it is very obvious in sec. 94) So he only controls the tempo, not the pitch, of the notes. I think it is fake.

the piano will play the tune - where he hits it is immaterial - but he does have to do it to the rythym - so it's not quite as impressive as it looks

It would be so nice if it was real, because he's obviously put so much effort into it, but it really seems that despite his (obvious) talent at juggling, at times the music and the keys he drops the balls on don't match up... for example -- there are a few times where there are 2 or 3 notes that sound the same, but the balls drop on different keys: look at 1:10-1:11, and 1:33-1:34. also, its really clear, say, in 1:45-1:48, the chord goes up- up- up- down (in pitch), but the balls go up-down -up -down..
but it was really entertaining the first couple of times, before i noticed this, though.

This is a FAKE performance. The piano is sensitive to the ball touches, but plays the right sound. Don't believe, that such a performance could be taken over without an error, while even normal piano presentments have errors. The guy knows the rythm and the place where he should approximately through the balls, the piano does the rest.

I don't care what you guys say this takes years to perfect , what talent and dedication.

i thought this was real but then i found out its not.
look at when he goes fast. all he does is go up and down when the song jumps around more. some areas rhtyhims didn't fit together either

there is a recorded dong in the piano, everyone should notice that when he played the same note twice, the keys were like first played on the left of the piano and the second note on the ride sight of the piano,how should i say?Two keys that are each faraway from each other?But i should say that he could juggle quite well!

Wouldn't the balls hit more than one key, making the tune sound off???? I don't believe it. I think it's silly, not amazing.

like the other guys said he is playing the piano with the balls but not the excact notes it is programmed to play the preset notes no matter where the balls hit it is cool though. just think of it like magic the whole thing is fake but we still watch it because it looks cool and we wonder how they do it. its an illusion ITS NOT REAL ITS AN ILLUSION if he wanted to play the piano he would have taken piano lessons not juggling :)

It was awesome!!! I just saw it in Vegas a few nights ago and he was amazing!! It is REAL!!!

I don't know if this guy gives or not a show in Las Vegas but I assure you that this film was taken during the Just for Laugh Festival in Montreal (Quebec, Canada)! As a Montrealer, I have seen many shows at this festival and I would recognize this stage anywhere! :-)
And he even plays the beginning of the Canada's national anthem!!! :-)))

He plays at the Tropicana Hotel in Vegas right in the middle of the Foles Berger show. He is even More Awesome in Person. Hes not on there for too long. He juggles hats on his head too. I wish he would have played for longer. If your ever in Vegas, you have to see his show!

He is a very good jungler, Unbeleivable, I confess he took my breath away, Only two kind of people: 1- the Simple people - 2 - those who have Faith.

I thought it was really cool when i watched it the first time, and its cute that he can please the audience doing this. But watching it in full screen some of the notes don't make sense...and i'm not just trying to cut him down or anything i've been playing piano for 12 years...

really good performance but fake. go to seconds 42+44, at 42 seconds he plays a note, then he plays a higher note at 44 seconds but further to his left. (which should produce a lower note)

Ofcourse this is fake. The balls are too big and if you know something about music, you have to mention that his piano can't 'play' sharps and flats (the black keys on the piano) and the songs have! (1:51)

The creator of this routine is named Dan Menendez (the Piano Juggler). The difficulty level is limited. Any hack can steal a routine. Not everyone can create something new. It saddens me that Dan can do nothing about it.

he is not alone to do this search on google (piano juggler) you will see and sure it's not a real piano (the balls there too big for a little note )but he need to trow the ball at the good place lot a pratice i tell you very good show

My daughter has a toy violin that plays pre-programmed songs: each tap on the strings with a pretend bow 'plays' the next note in the song - your taps determine the rhythm. This is very likely how this gentleman produces his tunes. It doesn't matter where the ball hits, the next note will come out with each hit. He is a great juggler, however!

I live in Montreal, one of my good friends Bruce is the president of the Comedy Festival and hires all the talent. only the best get to perform and this guy is the real deal. He is so amazing he was invited even though it's more amazing than funny. He added the "balls" joke because it was supposed to be a comedy venue. The act was better without it but we can overlook it because of the amazing talent he has.

Technically this is midi triggering....any note striking the keyboard will produce the NEXT note...This is great enteratinment, I like it...just so you know the technical aspects of the show. I like show business....He makes people happy! but he is not hitting the correct piano note....just so you know.

Good act, but fake. Although I'd like to think it's real, and he's throwing the balls down at the right time, and mostly in the right places, but he made a mistake.

At the end of "Proud to be an American", at appx 1 minute 33 seconds, he plays two repeated notes. If you watch carefully, the first time he plays it is about 6 inches away from the second time he plays it. Play it in slow motion if you don't believe me.
