I've seen this on TV a couple of times and it cracked me up and yes, amazed me. Obviously the film was stopped and then resumed here, the first tall lady he got from the audience was not even the same girl that crawled away. The girl that crawled away was obviously born that way, the only thing that I couldn't figure out was how the toes moved on the legs after "separated" , must be trick photograpy. I have to say this is about the lamest trick I have ever seen Angel perform. I belive this is how this trick is done. If you have ever watched the discovery health channel on tv you will sometimes see a show about people who were born with out legs. With the level of robotics we have today it is feisable to have the lady with robotic legs. (Similer to the UTAH ARM). So with a actor and a little robotic this trick is possible.

This is whats going on. They have a lady and sheslying down BOOM they turn the camera off. Then the put a midget in a dress and attach her to plastic legs BOOM camera back on. He releases the midget from the plastic leg and she goes ahh..ahh...ah. Then they cut to a close up of HUMAN legs moving. Its so close because they dont want you to see that the legs are attached to yet another actor.

We all *know* it's a trick, people cannot be severed in half and survive, right? The lady holding the arms is careful how she places the upper body down on the ground. Most people not being a stooge would have let go as soon as the upper body separated from the lower body. You should also notice that when the upper body turns to escape (at 01:35) there is a support visible on her back which appears to be able to contain a support of some description.

There are most definitley people born with no lower limbs at all as half-man in 'Freaks' 1932.

Im most of chris angel's stunts the audience is in on it or the cameraman or his helpers. That is how he performs his more "amazing" tricks. If you notice the audience is always the same type of people in every trick. During his stunts he always has a few helpers like in the stunt where he tricks the police officers. The half-woman in this particular stunt has been on the discovery channel many times for being one of the few people with this strange disorder that started in her mothers womb. Obviously she cant get work so she lowers herself to doing these tricks

I met him in Las Vegas and I'm lucky enough to talk to him in person. That time I saw him levitate atleast 2 and a 1/2' off the ground to the side of the water fountain in my own eyes. I can't even see any flaws at all. I really like him and I even visited to his website and learned some small trick, such as, 'Quarter Through The Soda Can'. It's a little magic, but I surprised many spectators. Yes, It's a fake if you assume that is real magic, but no, it's not a fake if you understand it is a MAGIC TRICK to perform to entertains you. However, if you think there is a string, or camera, or whatever you like to make up. Please., may you show us something since you know how to do it too? it's a chick with no legs, because she's way too good at walking around on just her arms. Only someone who has lived without legs for years could get around that fast.... either on top of a midget or animatronic legs.

Ok...I'm starting to get really annoyed with people saying that Chris Angel Really! does "magic." In this video, (like in several of his others), u can see many flaws.

1) Before the girl splits, he tells them both to pull, why doesn't the blond pull?
2) When the girl Does split, u can see Chris's hand puch into her dress, as if it were cardboard.
3) Between scenes (when he begins to put his hands on the girls waist) you can notice that her dress suddenly drapes over the bench, pointing out the time when they switch bodies.
4) All other flaws are just common sense. Ok u get ur body torn apart...and u run across the field, away from anyone who can help?? Wtf... :P

...the woman he (obviously) used for this trick was actually on TV in England this evening.

Also, the lower half of the torso is clearly a small child, if you look closely:
1. The woman crawling away is NOT the same woman asked to lie down and,
2. The lower body left after the 'split' clearly has a) smaller ankles and b) longer skirt.

Great illusion though, i'm going to search for some more from this guy. Very entertaining.

Of course its not real, its just an optical effect and,or a good trick, Thats THE POINT of the whole thing. Magic does not exist.... every time i see people saying its fake im like wow this guys are so idiots. The point is that you enjoin the performance like one guy up here said.

this bs ass trick first off it sounds like he hits something hard like wood before he pulls her apart. and did she jus decide to become legless???? what happened after she crawled away. what happened to her legs. this trick was a set up and i gots to say one of his worst TRICKS ever. he has fallen off he ain't got no new S**t he needs to give up.

Ok you guys, just look. Pay attention to 1:15: the shot changes point of view. What you see is that in the shot before 1:15 the woman that's pulling the arms is standing bend down. In the shot after 1.15, all of a sudden she stands up straight.

So they changed the setup, and this is what happened: the upper half of the woman is a woman who has no legs (those people exist, they are born without legs). The lower half is just a lilliputter with a skirt above his head. So the lilliputter only stands up, the woman without legs crawls away like she used to.

So its just a trick, and it's too bad it's not real magic.

I was almost baffled by the lower half of the body, until i noticed that just before the split the legs are somewhat chubbier, then all of a sudden they are quite skinny and the black skirt is longer. Clearly the "thing" beneath the black skirt after the split is a child/teenager. Legs are far skinnier than the woman who approaches the bench. Check out the ankles, basically. The magician is clever though, i think it's a great illusion. Very entertaining.

The camera cuts away then when It comes back there is another woman and she has noticeably shorter arms and there is much less skin showing on he forearms. I'm guessing she is already half a woman.
