If you take your expensive, real diamond to a jeweller for cleaning, evaluation/appraisal, etc., it will ALMOST ALWAYS be replaced with a cheaper, more flawed, less desirable diamond. They assume you are too stupid to know the difference. If you ever lay out a bunch of money for a large, flaw-free diamond, insist on a certificate of appraisal, and a laser-etched serial number on the diamond prior to purchase. Then have the number re-checked after ANY time spent at a jeweller.

If women spent as much time and effort into trying to determine if her man were real or fake before marying him, wether a treasure or a fixer upper, there would be a lot better marriages and less divorces. You need to be more concerned about the quality of the man, not the ring. And remember men are persistant in their search for the right woman, so persistant in fact that not even getting married will stop them from their search!

Go to your local jeweler and have them test it. We do it all the time free for customers. A hand held tester checks the heat dispersion of a diamond in about 1 second. This is because many small diamonds (.1 to .25 carat) used in settings will be internally flawless just because of their size. If the diamond is big enough you can actually put it on your tongue and it will feel and stay cold.

We're busy discovering electricity, flight, gravity, getting man on the moon and possibly mars, disocering how to combust salt water and potentially cure cancer, and what are they doing with their time? if u have loose Diamond take the Diamond and have the point side up put on white sheet of paper draw straight line and put the Diamond in center of line if line curve it fake
