The mouth and eyes are moved by another person with a remote control, so it's not "animatronic" like Lincoln at Disneyland. The head is turned by the person in the costume, as well as the front legs twitching. This is the same way the Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles were operated for the movie.

a guy in a suit, just a few months ago this show toured, and was at the mullins center,in massachusetts. there were some full size dinos like t-rex, and others. they also had a web site with a look behind the scenes at how they worked..

There's a person manning a dino suit. Nice nevertheless - for the kids. The dinosaur is always leaning over to cover the legs of the operator. The sounds effects and the action is very convincing; look at the little ones - they're nervous/scared.
