A basic human trait is the ability to fantasize, dream/create all kinds of devils and gods, facts and theories, and ideas and hold these to be the absolute truth, and stubbornly refuse admit wrong. A sense of security comes from being RIGHT. Isn’t part of the problem this BLACK and WHITE ridged "I’m right and Your wrong" thinking. However until anyone admits they are wrong, the thinking will stay the same and a BETTER way of thinking will be shut out. Admitting wrong is a sign of strength, because now you can find a solution that works better, and stop wasting time and material on solutions that don’t work very well. ( Ok a bigger gun is a good idea but maybe not the BEST idea.) How bout pack that plane full of Thomas Paine writings and bomb the ignorant infidels with some good thought. Bomb the infidels with radio and TV signals showing them a better way. Will it curb violence, I don’t know, But maybe it can help. When I read some of the Negative comments here on Metacafe Its plain to see that helping others to a better life isn’t a high priority on a lot of peoples minds.

Try telling that to the barbaric militia groups who teach boys to shoot guns and strap on bombs. There is no reasoning with those people especially when in those place being in a militia is there only source of income.

These weapons will STOP a third world war.

Without such advanced weapons - there would be no peace. I'm not saying there is peace now... but it is a tolerable time. Countries are friends and form alliances - trade with one another and live BESIDE and WITH one another.

These weapons are used to kill and destroy - that is true. But without it... how will we stop aggressors who do not share our 'peaceful' ways? how will you defend yourselves?
