The national media really latched onto this and played it up like the guy who once asked an NFL player at the Super Bowl "if you were a tree what kind would you be".
The fact is this question was asked by Corby "Snake" Davidson, who provides comic relief on the Hardline radio program from 3-7pm weekdays on Sports Radio 1310 The Ticket in Dallas.
For the past several years Corby and Shaq have had a really cool relationship because of the hilarious "would you..." type questions Corby asks Shaq everytime he rolls through Dallas. Shaq enjoys them so much in fact that he often allots a great deal of time for Corby to interview him. Of course the tradional, stuffy media-types sit back, roll their dull, glazed-over eyes and get pissy that someone would waste their oh-so-valuable time with these type of questions. EXAMPLE: In order for Shaq to win another NBA title would he trade private parts with Shawn Bradley. Of course Shaq's response was NO.
You can see from Shaq's response that he was having fun with it and even laughed and pointed at Corby as if to say, "Hey! I got YOU that time".
