  • Great Video

Great video. The cinematography is so unique and original. The backdrop of the balloons on the mountains is breathtaking.
    Please keep us posted.
Congrats to Derek. I met him once in person and he seemed like a kindred soul. Perfect casting.
Btw, I posted this on my Facebook page. I hope you get tons of exposure.

    • Derek Hilland as Da Vinci

      Thank you Melinda.

Did you know that Derek & Da Vinci share a similar profile?
I was in the middle of this film, & he walked into my Home/studio at Malibu Lake, to rent my other home.

      It was surreal!

He was meant to come over.

Thank you for spreading the word.

We are about ready to do the publicity in the Hollywood Reporter & Variety.

      Regards,

      Bonnie

  • Way to go Derek!

Congrats to you Derek on your project and to everyone involved! I've been wondering for some time now how this was coming along, and I must say...it's breathtaking! The music is beautiful and is perfect for the film. Thanks to Bonnie for answering the question as to whether or not Derek is the master on the keys. ;-) I kind of thought so!

The scenery is out of this world. Can't wait to see more! Thanks Kat for sending me the link. This film deserves to be seen!

  • fantastic work

My first comment did not take, either, so I hope this one does.
Very inspiring music and such an atmospheric piece. The settings are breathtaking and you did a wonderful job of capturing them. The balloons are an incredible sight. I found it very uplifting and relaxing to watch and listen.

  • Very beautiful and inspiring

This film is very beautiful. The music seems so ethereal and uplifting. The cinematography is just lovely. I like all things DaVinci and time travel so this film is a winner in my book. I really want to see Touch The Sun in its entirety. I thought Derek Hilland did a fine job in this film, too. Re: the success of this film, Bonne Chance as they say in France!

Lady Cascadia, Where do you Hail from?
      Vous ets Francais?
(I learned to speak my French in my travels there.
I must now get the audio lessons & learn it fluently)

As far as music goes, I try to make music that makes you feel good.

We all have natural serotonin in our brains.
Music must be alpha waves, to me.
      Deep, Hypnotic sleep...

      Please pass this on.

We are just starting to build a Bon Fire to let people know we are here.

      Thank you again.

      Regards,

      Bonnie

    • Spreading the word about Touch The Sun

Ok, I'll try this again. The first message didn't seem to take. I'm living in Oregon, and no I don't speak fluent French...yet! I took courses in Spanish at university, and have tried to teach myself French with books and tapes, etc.

I like what you said about the music. I'm a musician myself. I've taken the liberty of embedding the video at my blog and I also plan to put it at my website, too. Everyone should see this film. It is definitely a much needed message in a world where there's so much awful stuff going on.

  • Breathtaking

Outstanding job!! Thank you Kat for sharing this with me. I got goosebumps from the very beginning. I love the hot air balloons, made me feel like I was right there. It's one of the things to do on my "bucket list". Music blends well with the film. Were those Derek's magical fingers on keyboards? Good luck with it Bonnie!!

    • Derek Hilland at the Keyboards

      Yes, That is him.

I filmed the recording for the:
      Behind the Scenes DVD.

This film has been a magical Gypsy Stem.
People pitching in from all over the Globe.

Please rate it 5 stars if you liked it that much.

This is amazing feedback that we are getting.

We really love hearing from all of you, & we will invite you all to the Wrap Party, even if you can only come by a Live Video Stream.

      Thank you Theresa.

      Love

  • It's Magical!!

I have watched and rewatched these clips. The music gently compliments the splendid cinematography. In a bizarre way, watching this clip threw me back to my childhood and the imagionery lands that took over my mind, but it is nice to see that such beauty and magic actually exist, and is accessible to us. I loved hearing about why champagne was carried. This clip is just too good not to share, and I think done that with those groups that matter most to me. All the best Bonnie, you know I am routing for you!!!
PS-Nice harmony between Derek & Jules! Well done!

      Allycen,

Thank you. I met Tony Bill this year, Producer of Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid, & I would love to have this at Sundance.

Tony is trying to find distribution for my film:
      Carnivale di Venezia.

I am releasing both those films at the same time.
Also a Film about Lighthouses & Tall Ships of the Pacific.

They should be up on metacafe shortly.

      Please pass this film on.

      Thank you for your support.

      Lowell,

The meet at Albuquerque is magnificent.
All of the Euro Balloonists dream of going.

The Night Glow is in the Swiss Alps in January.
Then onto the Carnival di Venezia.

      2 stunning venue's.

      Please pass this film on.
We are in the process of letting the world know we are here!

I am sending this to Paul Smith & Kathy Leyendecker today.

  • Time Travel back to Renaissance France.

You must see this film about Time Travel & bringing Leonardo Da Vinci back to the New Millennium.
I have watched Bonnie work on this film for 7 years. That is how long it took to get those Balloon shots without any commercial balloons in the scene, & all of the rest. God Speed. Watch for the DVD release~
