IIFA Awards 2008 Bangkok-Full

Olive Cookie brings you the full coverage of IIFA 2008, which was kicked off by famously debonair Amitabh Bachchan.

The awards ceremony for IIFA is expected to draw 600 million television viewers, making it one of the most-watched events in cinema just eight years after its launch. The stars paraded down the green carpet in a bid to spread awareness about global warming.

The event also featured the world premiere of Ram Gopal Varma's "Sarkar Raj," starring the Bachchans, Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya.

On Day 2, the glamorous IIFA Fashion Extravaganza presented fashion lines from India and Thailand in a star-studded presentation. The show was hosted by KJ and choreographed by Lubna Adams, showcased designs by Manish Malhotra, Rohit Bal and Sabyasachi among others.


Kareena Kapoor added the glam quotient for Manish Malhotra's designs.

Priyanka Chopra gave us the look of the future in Rohit Bal's creations.


Ayesha Takia was looking gorgeous in a Vikram Phadnis number.


Zayed Khan and Vivek Oberoi, set the ramp on fire while showcasing the look of their soon-to-be-released film.


'Acid Factory', a film that has just begun production, also revealed its first look with Dia Mirza, Fardeen Khan and Dino Morea partaking in the revelry.

On Day 3,Ravishing Red on the Green carpet was Aishwarya rai and Abhishek in a neat Tux.

In a pink tie, Akshay graced the carpet with wife Twinkle who proudly carried the Bottega veneta clutch.

Another Hot hunk with pink tie was Ranbir with Deepika sizzling in a strapless maxi dress.

Diya was beautiful in a backless yellow gown.
