I am a muslim from Kuwait. I am writing this comment before even having the clip completely downloaded. However, I almost understood what was said by reading your comments.
We all know that every person, group, organization, or a whole country has his/its own beliefs. We cannot judge a whole nation or a whole religion because of what some idiot so-called a man of god has to say through a private channel that only exists to make quick money.
Do you remember when after 9/11 an American woman suddenly came out telling the whole world that USA deserves what happened because of a (gay-lesbian thing)? That lady doesn't represent USA. Yet, she has lots of followers that agree to what she says. This SOB represents his own sick ideas and his followers are those extremists who bomb every now and then. Each time a similar clip pops up, Islam is being attacked and why? Because those who attack know nothing about Islam. Do not judge before knowing the truth.

Man is it interesting to see the way people react to stupid stuff. First off, I am a Christian, former muslim, former roman catholic. I am not knowledged in religion much i just follow what i believe in my heart. Hearing what this man says is exactly what most of you say, it is ridiculous. No matter what you can always look at a negative side on anything. he is not giving any real evidence just a bunch of what if's. what if this, what if that, I personally have never met a doctor who is more concerned with soccer(by the way the second lamest sport in the world besides crickett) than with his career he spent years upon achieving to save lives. Ya, he spent 10 years becoming a surgeon yet every time a soccer game comes on he loses it all, get a grip. and if anyone misses prayer time because a goal is to close i think they have more to worry about in their judgement then that one goal. as for you moderate muslims, i have met many like you. and for the most part quite calm and nice people. what turned me from your religion is that you believe the koran is more important than human life. you believe a creation by man ( and this is a book written by man, released over 2 decades after mohammed died so he can not even tell you if it is what he said) is more important than a creation by god, people. you will kill people over a book. does that not sound backwards. I was also told, and i may have been misinformed, but was told by a muslim that it will be a great day when Allah passes his judgement and we will kill all the jews. even the trees will tell muslims where jews are hiding and we will kill them all. does that sound like something god would ask. kill an entire group of people. why not let Hitler succeed then. and just like said by someone else below, the biggest problem with religion is people all interpret it their own way. i can only say the reason i chose christianity over all is if i were to raise a child i would want him/her to grow with love and care in their heart like Jesus did live in the way Jesus did as well. Jesus never killed anyone, never condemned anyone, only preached compassion and love. this in my mind is the way any God i would like to follow would send his messenger, his SON. What are the credentials of this man!! What are his academic qualifications, how many countries has he visited, how exposed is he to the world... Okay... here it is: how he said watching the WC was bad because you're in need for stuff, you watch it instead, its bad, who would be so unhumane to ignore something like a surgery operation and let the person die? I mean ignoring the phone for serveral seconds is okay, to what I think, but to what he think , it isn't, cause it might be a urgent call, what I think is that if its urgent, you should know before hand, or about serveral, 2 seconds its not that bad even for a urgent call. And how some kids, or people imimmtate the players, like drug accidition (or however you spell it) , go meet them or call them or something and as that kid's parent, s/he should ask the player to explain/tell them why its bad or good or w/e for that thing. For the broadcasting prayer, if the ball is only NEAR the goal, just broadcast the prayer first, then if the goal strikes, chant the GOAL GOAL GOAL crappy thingy later, if the broadcast is suppose to take up the whole screen, have a playback after the prayer... -_- (did that offend anyone? if I did, I'm sorry =( )

There is no difference between what this cleric said and what you might find on any evangelical christian tv station. If you are stupid you can believe that other people know "the truth", as if there is one fundamental truth to reality, or you can accept the fact that these clerics, priests, and other holy men are just trying to make sense of this reality, they dont know S**t No one has the answers for you, no one can save you, you have to figure out life on your own, there is no one right way to be.
