  • tempatures will ...

tempatures will always go up and down! and by the way. the warmest earth has ever been was long long before man ever existed!

and those things i recently said were just a couple things that the government will do!the government should not need to help us on every turn. they should not be are little buddy in everything! we all need to make are own choices and the government should stay the F**k away.

  • the government will ...

the government will always have power over us. we will continue to get taxed more for issues other than global warming.
and don't worry your precious car being taken away from you. the government would never let people see this issue so seriously, unfortunately. it would hurt the economy to have "one family own one car" so that's not a problem.
we are just trying to stop temps from going up..
so for you i suggest you try recycling or something more productive then bitching about al "whore"

    we get taxed more.

he limits are driving and lets mabey 1 family own 1 car.

and the tempature changes would not even go down 1%

  • There used to be ...

There used to be glaciers in Yosemite, CA 10,000 years ago. "Indians" came over the Bering Strait and populated the New World. Then the glaciers melted back to Alaska... would you say that Native Americans caused global warming? Or would you say that the sun, the only thing capable of melting that amount of ice, did? And who's to say the sun isn't done melting that ice? Why does anyone think the 20th century is the perfect temperature of the planet?

"Humans are now changing the world on a global scale and ushering in the new era in geologic time."

It's time to change the way we produce and use energy and how we relate the environment that sustains.

  • "...but not in ...

    "...but not in Antarctica..."

and there has been a cooling trend over all of the Antarctic, except the Palmer Peninsula, which of course has seen ice melt. Of course, all you will ever generally read about is the Palmer Peninsula, and this constitutes a whopping TWO percent of all of Antarctica.

  • this is stupid. ...

    this is stupid.

we didn't even send out a weather satellite until 1961 and they are saying we have records for 10000 years?

they are also saying that AK glaciers are melting, I live in alaska, they melt and REFREEZE

another thing, co2 has NOTHING to do with GW.
before the big economic boom and all the co2 was emitted into the air the temp got higher, and remember that was BEFORE the large amount of co2 was emitted. co2 is lagging behind temperature by about 800 YEARS!

Try reading a book instead of the fast food diet of hysteria driven media (they make more money the more scared people are). Unstoppable Global Warming Every 1500 years is a good place to start.

Here is an interview with Dr. Nils-Axel Morner. He was an IPCC reviewer twice and he is a sea level specialist. He explains why he disagrees with the IPCC sea level rise assessment for the past 100 years and he predicts 4 inches of sea level rise for the next 100 years.

  • I never cease to be ...

I never cease to be awed by the sight and sound of glaciers calving. The accelerated rate of ice melting due to current CO2-driven warming is unfortunately likely to grow based on observed CO2 emissions trends, unless these are promptly reversed. Given the recent universal international consensus, there's some reason for hope, although not necessarily for optimism.
