    In some states it is illegal to hide or alter plates. Have you tried it out for real with a speed trap? Good how to though. thanks

    • It is illegal to alter license plates

      but what about altering your car to have super cool lights to light up your plate? It is illegal to not have your license plate lit up, so if you put a line of leds above it, you could have a few regular, so it lights up, and a few IR, so it just looks like a few might be burnt out.

      Not sure about how legal that still is, though.
