The reason Criss doesn't bleed is because he is a robot. He was a secret experiment created by the U.S. government to use against terrorists. The government gave him super-powers like the 6-million dollar man or whoever it was, which is why he can fly. But he turned against his creators and he was causing a lot of problems until they let him live in Las Vegas posing as a magician because he likes it there and he gets to score with the women in the audience who are also robots that the government makes for him in their secret underground lab. There also real people in the audience, everyone signs something before the live performance and if anyone ever says it was fake or anything they always end up having a mysterious "accident" which they were warned would happen when they signed the oath of secrecy. PS don't try this at home, I did before I realized Criss is a robot, it really hurt and I can't put myself back together and it ruined my lucrative career as a professional basketball player.

The Saw blade is going the wrong Way. And Physically it is not possible to cut anything with the bladegoing that slow. Think about the power required to cut through metal, that blade is going extremely slow and maybeif it was powered by a V8 or some shite, it might work. Its all camera tricks and staged audiences.

notice how the table isn't exactly cut in half, but has an extra slab on the part that the top part of criss angel is lying on- also notice how the cloth covering the 'cut' part is at an angle, meaning that he is bending his actual body a 360 degree angle [almost]. The preperation is to put robotic legs on the table while the camera is filming the spectators watching him. The spectators are faking thier reactions [obviously]- because all they say is 'oh my gosh' afterwards.

If you look you can see Chris pull some kind of wire right before the platform seperates (sp). Also if you have ever cut metal you would know that that blad will not cut that metal table in half. Plus, the table sparks more after they are seperate.

This is a robot body. Superp Hollywood facial and body makeup that make it so real. But the problem is robot cannot balance itself well to lay down like human. That is why 2 audiences were helping to lay down this robot.

the guy has fake legs that he's stepped inside of. he asks the woman to hold his ankles so that he can wiggle out of the lower half. watch him hold the chains so he can pull his legs out of that lower body mold. from there he just has to curl his legs up to fit in either that round strap or the platform itself. pretty well done.

this is art, basically its art. he is an artist, he is really good to, why is he good? because he is trying to get a reaction out of u, and whether the reaction is positive or negative, its a reaction and he accomplishes his goal, that is what good artists do.

Well, the trick itself, it's real. Not photoshopped or anything, but let's look at a few obvious facts.
1.) The saw that's spinning... Doesn't even touch the black sheet of whatever that he's on. You see this from the side view... Yet it sparks somehow.
2.) He doesn't bleed
3.) His organs don't pop out
4.) The saw blade ARE RETRACTABLE. Have you ever seen those knives that retract when they have even the slightest pressure? If you watch VERY carefully, you can see them retract and unretract. Play the vid at X.5 speed and you'll see.

when the table came apart it had sparks near his ''legs'' and the saw wasnt even touchin it (the table).
can sum1 explain that?

Worst illusion ever...
1) Sparks flying from the thing that hes laying on before the "saw blade" even reaches that point
2) Even the saw looked fake, and it wasnt spinning nearly fast enough to cut through anything
3) Whatever hes laying on breaks apart on its own, the blade had just barely hit it and all the sudden its cut in half!
4) No blood
5) Camera cuts away so much its ridiculous
6) "Saw blade" blocks the view in half the shots
7) Paid audience, yay....
8) Criss Angel is just... bad....

If you watch when the saw blade is starting to spin you see its going the wrong way.

And you know like a car tire, sometimes it looks like its going backwards when a car is driving.
Criss is using the same illusion, but here it looks like its going the right way.

There are only two moments you really want to watch. Take 01:29 (1 minute 29 secs) ant notice the distance between the middle of the table and the cilindrical metal arownd his waist. There are only a couple of inches. Take 02:03 and notice how that distance has grown considerably. For me this is solid proof that the video was edited for us tv watchers, so i can't really believe anything the audience sais about there being no gimmics.

I really don't know how he does it, but take a look at the second 88 and then 123. the belt is made of two metal parts divided by a black cloth, look at the ditance between the upper metal belt from the middle of the table, at 88 and than at 123 seconds.
There is a lot of space at the 123 second, I believe he uses that space to hide i legs, bending them around he table. The legs that appear moving are probalby just a mechanized version of his. When he changes his real legs for the fake ones? Probably video editing, or he is real quick hehe

First of all you msut understand that the so called "live audience" it's part of the show and therefor exclude them. Video is full of cuts and special effects but the trick is a disaster at best and anyone here on metacafe could do it.
Now FFWD to 02:23 and pause. You can clearly see how his legs cast a shadow under the table. Later on you can see blured zones under the table, meaning the video was edited to remove his legs that were hanging under the table. Preeeety lame!
And like some before me stated, the only good trick he could do is to die like a con he is...

How he put himsel back together?

I WATCHED THIS ABOUT 10 TIMES AND KEPT REWINDING AND PAUSING AND I FOUND OUT. IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY AFTER HE IS CUT OFF, THE UPPER BODY PART YOU CAN SEE WHERE THEY EDIT OUT THE LEGS, ITS BLURRY. AND LOOK AT THE SHACKLES HOLDING HIS BODY DOWN, AT THE BEGINNING, THEY ARE BESIDE EACHOTHER AND AFTER HE IS CUT THE SHACKLE ON THE UPPER BODY SIDE MOVES UP ABOUT A FOOT SO HE CAN HAVE HIS HIPS THERE AND HANG OUT HIS LEGS. IF YOU LOOK AT THE GROUND AFTER HE IS CUT YOU CAN SEE THE SHADOW OF HIS LEGS HANGING DOWN. OBVIOUSLY THE SAW IS FAKE BECAUSE IT IS GOING BACKWARDS. AND THE SPARKS ARE JUST FIREWORKS BECAUSE THEY KEEP SPARKING AFTER THE BLADE HAS GONE THROUGH. THERE HAPPY? THERE IS YOUR ANSWER, NOW SHUT UP AND GO POST SOMEWHERE ELSE. IDIOTS...

the saw was fake and going backwards, watch it a couple times before you say stupid things like there was smoke and mirrors, i didnt see any shiny mirrors or smoke, the room was clear. the audience was clearly fake. Those of you calling the audience fake or paid actors are retarded, because they and their reactions seemed pretty damn real to me. You don't expect them to start crying and screaming in shock and fear because even the audience realizes that it's a trick.

And yes magic is a trick, an illusion, it isn't real, everyone knows that. But the real fun is trying to figure out how the hell he did it. Criss Angel himself admits that it's all fake, so he has no pretensions there.

Not too bright people seem baffled that there is no blood. I guess they assume Criss has really been cut in half, but they are confused as to why he is not bleeding to death. Let's see, he is cut in half, he seems kind of OK, but "where is the blood?", that's what people want to know. This is very confusing to them. The fact that someone would deliberately cut their body in half, in public, with a giant saw, on TV, they can accept that, they just can't figure out where the blood is. So they arrive at the brilliant conclusion that it is FAKE. OR, they arrive at the brilliant conclusion that it is NOT FAKE (the latter is true, see my explanation about Criss being a robot with super-powers.)

the others are what he calles Body Mind and Spirit. Criss Angel doesnt even call it magic. But there is a force out there and if you havent experianced it first hand youll never believe. The levitating from Building to Building is an Illusion. Same as pulling apart the woman in the park (illusion) walking on water (illusion). Its the little things he does, The less extravigent things. Just watch Season One Episode Two. After watching that episode you find you still dont believe in the paranormal than theres realy nothing that will ever concince you. this one because there is no wiggle room. and because the platform is only 5 inches thick is not an illusion. Magicians have been doing this for a long time folks. He just not afraid to expose it to you as real. People that say its fake or that theres no such thing in magic are just afraid of the possibility that it might be real. I think if you guys saw him walking on the streets you would run away from him, youre just afraid thats all.

Ill give him that hes flexible. Its all about the presentation. Also the trick is done with the padding below him its hollowed out ... There probably also under contract or thell get sued if the audience gives up the trick....

A trick, in general, is considered a good trick if people believe it ,but this one over here is just not credible. when the blade was still cutting the body (so to speak), sparks from under the table were flying as if metal is being cut (the blade didnt even reach the table by then). Special effects timings did not match. i didnt see the entire table being cut. Also i couldnt recognize the guy as Chris (we presume its him). Also the audience couldnt have been faker then they already were, i mean did you see the fake OMG's and instead of being terrified, they had a smirk. But Chris, still, good effort!!

This is real. I have performed it but not like this. We actually do cut ourselves in half. This is one of the best ways to show this because people are there as witnesses to see that it is not fake.

The reason criss doesn't put himself back together is because he can't. The illusion is one-way, so instead (on the show) he shows a clip of a magician that never restored the person, and said that was his "inspiration" The truth is that the illusion doesn't allow him to put himself back together with an audience there.

Criss Angel is an artist and an entertainer. While some of his stuff involves plants and people who are in on the trick. His live performances are amazing and tend to freak people out.

The saw actually goes in the "non-cutting" direction... when it first starts at slow speed you can see that it is not using the "cutting edge" - then they quickly show the saw from the back angle and then once it is up to speed the optical illusion makes it look like it is going the cutting direction.... check it out..

Why they never showed how he got back together again? Also, in the shots where he is apart he never moves (indicating a dummy) except for the close-ups. The only camera angle showing him going apart is from the top, meaning that obviously, the "lower part" was fake and it was all staged. Duh. Sorry, normally I like magic tricks, but this one was pretty obvious.

If u watch during sevral diffrent camara shots the saw blade is going one way, when another camara the saw blade is going another way. then if u watch at this time 2min and 36 sec u see part of the table steal sparkin when the saw blade wasent tuchin.

Ive watched Magic shows all my life. I always thought that the smoke and mirrors Illusionists use for there magic tricks to to hide the REAL way there doing it. But I was Wrong, They use smoke and mirrors to Hide from the audiance that there using Real Magic. Criss has the balls to finally do "in youre face magic" with no smoke and mirrors. No place for magic to hide. And people just cant handle it without the smoke and mirrors. Case and Point, David Copperfields saw magic is probably Real Magic too, But he uses smoke and mirrors and its rated higher than Criss' While Criss Saw magic is more "uncomportable" for viewers because It looks to real. IT IS REAL PEOPLE. It always has been
