THAT can be dangerous for the lizard
I keep alot of snakes and reptiles, I only feed my guys fresh killed or frozen. Cant tell you how many infections I had to fight off due to even the SMALLEST rat bite. SWEET enclosure and a VERY pretty Tegu. Forgot how QUICK they can be.

  i give my beasties live feeder mice but there is still a chance for infection from the tiny scratches. It is a gorgeaous Tegu though. Quick as hell

  I've had many reptiles before but feeding them live food isen't right, next to infections well they eat any meat you don't need to feed them live animals.
