    The same is true in many all areas where innovation is occurring. Revolutionary invention often comes from the periphery or altogether external to the professions and specialities, the domain of supposed "experts", as the paradigm of doing the science they are indoctrinated with puts blinkers on scientists so that they cannot conceive of anything outside of their dogma.

    The "laws of thermodynamics" were written by the governments to keep people from even trying to invent or pursue free energy.

      The laws of thermodynamics were written by scientists. They're not rules that you're not allowed to break; they are observations on how the universe functions.
