Freak Accident With Glass Revolving Door

When adjusted right, when the woman entered the wrong way and pushed against the door, it should have either timed out, or tripped its own current limiting circuit. These doors also breakaway in such cases like these, they however are not suppose to snap backwards like that, which makes me think that a spring broke loose. The glass shattered fine, thats what safety glass is suppose to do, as stated below. Your car has this own glass, with one exception it does have a layer of plastic in between. Instead of huge chunks of glass which could have done major damage, you get tiny pieces everywhere, which will end up like paper cuts.

Why not put a normal door there? Class is dangerous as it is.

if from the outside the door is turning counter clockwise why do you have to go clockwise? kansas city shuffle.. when everyone looks right there is always one looking left

why is the video so long? you only need the first 20 seconds or so. the rest is complete nothing. dumb.

just before he gets slammed the glass door infront of him starts going in reverse, and the glass door opposite that one starts speeding up. they both slam into him n pin him n the glass breaks. look at the lowest part or the frame holding the glass as it is easier to see the frame against the white floor. thats not possible for a normal revolving door.

this door starts revolving automatically when some1 walks towards it... the guy from outside did nothing wrong. Its just the door panes turning into each others direction with the poor guy clamped in between. Dumb designer!

person entering from the left then press against the door, then walk away to the left again then off screen towards the right. That person is liable for the lawsuit, basic hit and run case. medical bills and paid time off not much 10k.

It was that girl in the beginning... after she gets out she stands there until the guy enter and she blocked the glass infront of him with something and then she walked away.... shes evil

ok something a little bit weird. Look at 1:05 the door moves a little bit then the rug next to the door the left further most corner moves up on its own.

no mater how you push or pull the door should never do that and the glas should resist such a presure and who ever made the dor they should have consider such events

the outer frame got caught on the edge...and the frames came apart .... it was a sling-shot effect :D the person exiting was pushing on the door and tension was building up on the frame that was caught on the outside edge ...frame gives way...simple :)

the person who entered from the wrong side that is to blame...look at the bottom of the revolving door....the 4 frames that hold the glass windows (that make the door) all 4 of them cave in on the person who was exiting....it must have been a very big shock to cause that

someone did try to enter the wrong way. but that door shouldn't have shattered like that!! that glass is meant to take shock. not sure what happened there!!
