RC is an excellent defender, i would sure like to see Ronnie play in his position! Those of u who says that defenders cant be compared to strikers or midfielders, are real jerks. The men in the front mostly score more often than those in the back, they might be better offensive. When a striker scores, he gets much more attention than if a defender does a good job in defence! Think about that for a second before u talk!

Ronaldinho is much better. Granted, Roberto Carlos is an amazing free kicker and probably has the strongest leg in the game but he can never be as good as ronaldinho in controlling the ball and setting things up. Also, when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net, no one was better than Pele. Down in Brazil, Pele is God. So far, Pele, the worlds best soccer player ever has only said that one person has the potential to be better than him. That person is ROnaldinho. Also remember Pele averaged over a goal a game during his whole 15 year career.

Well as u can see R.Carlos is a defender, Rony is an attacking midfielder, so it's totally different! Well R.Carlos was better when he was young and he was running all over the place on the left side and was as good at attacking as at defending... Rony is an attacking midfielder and he does good what he has to do... My opinion is R.Carlos' workrate is better than Rony

just try to stop his kick. I would either find myself back of the net or off the field with a broken arm:) very strong and powerful leg. No one has Carlos's leg. and Ronaldinho isn't the same body structure as carlos which doesn't enable him to kick that powerful like roberto

Tho roberto is good Ronaldinho would run circles around him. being able to kick a ball into the goal with force and accuracy is one thing but being able to pass, dribble, tackle etc is something else Ronaldinho can do the kicks but also get the ball up there whereas Roberto is not so perfect in that area

He is no doubt a fanstatic player even though partly the reason Henry score against them in the World Cup because he didnt follow him and he was left wide open but I guess Dida or Lucio or Cafu should have told him who to mark but every defender makes mistakes but still no doubt one of the greatest players ever and proably has one of the greatest shots ever

Has the most powerful left foot i have ever seen!! He scores some of the most incredible goals i tell you. And its the power that makes them so spectacular. I remember the goal he scored when he kicked the ball around the wall and it curled back and went into the goal. It was truly incredible!! This guy is just superb!!

I think you don´t have any clue about football. Ronaldinho is the best player ever, and not just a clown. Everything he does on the pitch makes sense and is good for the whole team.
Roberto Carlos is also really good, but a different kind of player.

Ronaldinho plays like sh*t, only dribles well and has mediocre speed... If speaking about brazil team, Kaka is much better, because he plays for his team, not to show his own skills or dribble trough everyone... Those who play for team, not for glory are rarely praised... Everyone agrees that defence has gotten much much better nowadays, yet we lack new Pele or Maradona... However I can't remember any defender getting any award unless he would be set piecer or would score in any other way... Defender's job is to defend, so we should appreciate them for doing so, not scoring...

Do you really think Roberto Carlos job is to defend? Now I know that you don´t have a clue about the game because a modern defenders work is to support the midfielders on the wings. So if a team is in the offensive, the midfielders go more or less in the middle to have a supperior number compared to the other team. Of course he has to do his part in the chain, but to defend against the strikers, there are 2 defenders inside the chain. A modern wing defender is more a 5th or 6th midfielder than a defender, think about that.
