  • For those who don’t get it.

    When weapons are carried locked and loaded and you have to enter an area where loaded weapons are not allowed, the weapon has to be safely unloaded. This can require positively clearing the chamber and pulling the trigger to release the hammer. Pointing the barrel into some kind of bullet trap when pulling the trigger can prevent a tragedy if the weapon was not properly cleared and a round is fired, (which I have seen happen).

      I was wondering what the use was, thanks for expanding on the video. We used to use a 55 gallon drum 3/4 full of sand with plate steel behind it.
