westerners always confuse on chinese, korean and japanese because they don't pay attention carefully!

she may be Korean, but why is she singing in Japanese? I didn't know she did any cross-language stuff. I love BoA by the way, especially her Lain opening song!

whats with u ppl and just assuming every asian is chinese or japanese
BoA is korean. the reason she sings in japanese is b/c they recruited her at the age of 7 and gave her strict training to make her a success not just in korea but across asia. it worked out pretty damn well especially in japan

she has two versions of most of her songs always a korean version usually followed by a japanese one both have same lyrics just different languages
