    • Agreed, that's truly amazing.

      Even if the elephant was trained to paint, it shows a keen sense of perception to detail. Try to train a dog or cat to render a facsimile of anything recognizable. Maybe a monkey.

    Well this is clearly more a human than elephant creation when this elephant has just been well trained. I can only imagine the thousands of paintings that preceeded this one with suitable rewards and punishments. An elephant always remembers the saying goes. As to the painting then elephant is painted to a very human perspective and the flower is very oversized. The handler also handed the elephant the coloured brush BEFORE the flower was started. Preknowledge... The end result? The elephant does not know he/she painted an elephant and this is all to impress the weak minded with well trained animal tricks.
