  • Easier method.

    Take time by filling up with air my mouth. Take a nice break and afterwards fill that extra pressure by closing esophagus and billowing cheeks inward and pulling the needle with teeth.

    Done it plenty of times in my younger years and no it does not get that bouncy but you can resume your play.

      Of course it's faked up. Common sense tells you that the air flowing out of a balloon cannot inflate a football.

      Physics tells you that as a balloon stretches as you put air in it, therefore the air is NOT under pressure. A football is inflated to a positive pressure (once full it stretches only very little, ideally not at all). Air cannot flow from a balloon with atmospheric pressure and inflate a football to a positive pressure.

      Consider why he sets this up on a table with a wrinkled tablecloth, and why there is an abrupt cut in the video just before he goes to remove the inflation pin (unseen by us). Also, we only see the neck of the balloon and there is no apparent decrease in its size as the football inflates.

      There is a separate compressor and the balloon is just for show.
