By marchellegolferdollk 1191395604 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveShoaib was trying the outswinger but luckily got the inswinger and the wicket. Thats why the batsmen left the shot because he noticed the attempted outswinger but lucky shoaib that it swung back in to the batsmen instead of getting outswinger :P.
Just look that the seam, its pointing outside towards the slips :P.
aaaaaawsom!!!!

By Nabi007 1164216543 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveCRICKET is the most magnificent sport in the world. I am from Australia and we love our cricket, and the stars like Sachin, Dravid, Inzmam, Shaoib, Murali... for the upcoming Ashes series against England all 5 5-day test matches have been sold out. Australians LOVE their cricket, just like Indians, Pakistanis, English, New Zealanders, South Africans, Zimbabweans, Sri Lankans.... The World Cup of cricket (of which Australia has won the past 2) is a huge global event. Each to their own; I know most of Europe, Africa and Asia LOVE football (soccer), and that's great, but in Australia cricket and Australian Rules Football are the favourite sports, followed by soccer and rugby.
Australia are ranked #1 in Test and One-day cricket, but as I said earlier, we love the stars from the other nations, and we love our very own Warney, Ponting, Hayden and Gilchrist.
GO AUSSIES!
(P.S. For a nation of only 20 million people, Australia does incredibly well on the world stage. Cricket World Cup winners 3 times, Rugby Union World Cup winners 2 times, Soccer World Cup {into the last 16})
i heard its like american base ball but i dont see any similarites

You're a F*****g F*g It's a great sport played all around the world. If it was such a F*g sport, then why is it so popular? The world cup is next year in the West Indies, and you can see for yourself how big it is.

By SE|ZO 1150962369 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewell baseball was a copy of cricket, the english brought it to india and the rest, its basically like baseball except its not a diamond and there arent any balls, a batter can stall as long as he wants (he doesnt have to run) as long as the ball doesnt hit the wicket (the 3 stumps behind him) they usually play for unlimited overs, (1 over = 6 bowls) and after the hitter hits, he runs back and forth between wickets

If you are used to watching baseball, you might prefer the Twenty20 version of the game - more exciting and faster(it still takes as long/longer than baseball)
there are 11 players on each team and the "pitching" and bowling side have to make the batsman strike out by hitting the wicket, if he hits that, the guys out and another one comes in. the batsman has to defend his wicket but also score runs by hitting it away and then running between the wickets. if he hits it far enough past a certain point he gets a certain number of runs (4 or 6) like a home run. the teams get two innings to try and get more runs than each other before all their players are out due to getting the wicket hit, getting caught out, getting run out, (like in baseball where the player is running to a base but doesnt get there in time) gets stumped (kind of like running out) and other things like that. the bowler is allowed to bowl/throw the ball any way he likes in any area, there is no "plate" he must hit to get a strike. he just aims to either hit the wicket, or aim to make the batsman glance the ball so someone can catch it. so bowlers can offspin, legspin, swing, reverse swing, googly, york, doosra, and seam bowl the ball to decieve the batsmen and hit the wicket. GEDDIT? :D
