      Although i agree with you on most things I gotta say that the comment about the west copying arab science is bull!! The first philosophers (what we call scientists today) were actually greek and it was only when the arabs invaded greece and took over Alexandria that you found the scrolls which detailed the science whcih you guys then COPIED into arabic. I don't deny that science came to Western Europe through the South of Spain when it was under control of the Nazari BUT itstill ain't your science :-)

      first of all the arabs never invaded greece ! alexandria is located in egypt , which is an arab country , and all the science that was found in egypt at that time was mostly developed by the ancient egyptians ( pharohs ) ,
      ancient egypt had far more developed science than entire europe at that time , for example :
      -construction and engineering (pyramids are still standing , arent they ? )
      -astronomy
      -medicine ( how did the ancient egyptians manage to save the mummies of their kings from decomposing ? thats still a medical mistery )
      -arts ( a single city called luxor in egypt has 2 thirds of the worlds monuments)

      thats just a few examples of the sciences that were mainly developed in egypt thousands of years ago ,
      as for the other arabs , i wont say they developed all the sciences in the world , but they did have their fair share of contribution to the nowaday technology,at the time when europeans were busy burning up innocent women for suspecting they were witches , which is an era known as the middle ages ( or dark ages), arabs were at the peek of their glory , they had an empire that extended from the borders of china till the southern border of france , and the arab scientists did put the basics of some crucial sciences , like :

      -algebra , the word itself is taken from the arab word ''al-jabr'' , which was developed by an arab scientist known as ''al khawarezmi''
      -chemistry , arab scientists like ''al-razi'', and '' Jabir ebn Hayyan '' which is considered as the father of modern chemisty , contributed in this science to the extent that the name of the science is taken from the arab word ''al-kemya'' , which europeans later called ''al-kemy'' , then later on ''chemistry''
      -even the numbers u like ''1 , 2 and 3 '' are originally arabic numericals
      -list of arab scientists go on forever , like

      ''al asmai'' (zoologist)
      ''al battani'' (he was a famous mathematician, he determined the solar year was 365 days)
      ''Ibn al haytham'' ( a phyisicist that have great achievements in optics and studying the circulation of blood in the body)
      ......and the list goes on
      The reason u probably never heard about these sciences is that nowaday media (which is mainly controlled by jewish ppl and zionists ) neglect these facts coz one of their main goals is to make arabs look like ignorant animals .

      Im not saying that arabs are the ones to thank for all the science and technology in the world , all im saying is that arabs shared alot in developing those sciences.
