      Fucked up ppl who use them. Do you know that 1 in 5 ppl will suffer a mental health issue. ok that doesn't mean 1 in 5 ppl will pick up a gun and shot someone. In Britain we have a thing called "Care in the Community" that basically means releasing recovering mentally ill ppl back into their community. They are trusted to take their "meds". Thing is many don't as the side effects are not very nice. Of course once off their "meds" they quickly revert to their unwell state.

      i am not sure what you do in the States but arming everyone isnt the answer.

      guns do = death. thats why they are made. if they were for defence they'd have a big shield on them ( only joking) tazers and mace are make for defence.

      Any reasonable sense of self-defense logic would dictate that if you are going to fight someone that is armed and you are unarmed, you must FIRST get a FIRM hold on the gun. Failure to do so would most likely result in you getting killed. Once you have gripped the gun, you should head-butt or elbow-punch him in the head, while at the same time knee him in the genital area, immediately followed by multiple head butts to his nose, at which point you should be able to jerk the gun out of his hand and shoot him with it.

      Then you could go home, drink a beer and watch the news on the TV
