  You need to bring your opponent's arm across your thigh instead of your groin area. That way you won't "smash your balls". Hope this helps :)

Koshi nage and ude osae are useful..
but the attacker is almost always much bigger than the victim (as most attackers are cowards) so those techniques would only be effectively executed if they were practiced regularly and properly.
These "learn self defence by watching it on the net" are ok but the only way to be effective is to be taught properly by a qualified teacher and to practice a few hours a week.
I am sure you agree.

  You're right. In order to execute these moves you need practice these moves on a regular basis. The key to making these moves 2nd nature is to drill, drill, drill! That way you won't have to think about it if you ever get caught in this situation.
