    The elphant was on platform, the platform was decended down while the curtans were up, and after they drop the elphant, they covered up the slot by the white cloth to hide any differences between ground texture.

    Anything he does can't be "fake" because he never claims it to be real. He's an illusionist, which means it's an illusion, so by calling an illusion fake is sort of missing the point. He makes things that aren't real appear real.
    You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know the elephant didn't vanish into thin air. But I'm sure none of you can explain how he pulled it off. Which is why he's so good.

    to all those who say "it doesn't matter if its fake, its nice, just enjoy it", know that its nice BECAUSE we wanna know how he did it, and just shut up really.

    To everyone else notice on 2.25 when they drop the first curtain you can see a little pool of water or sth else sleeky and shiny, right in the middle, criss gets anxious about it and hopefully for him the second curtain covers it and he just runs on top of it in the end to make sure it doesnt show. Maybe the elephant pissed itself just before it vanished.

      Did you see the version of this trick preformed by another magician on this site (sry, I forget the guy's name). It wasn't as impressively shot as this one, but the guy made a whole train disapear, and the curtains used to cover the train where dropped on the ground, put not at the same position!

      I believe Chriss is simply using the same trick, just with an elephant. Addmittedly, I don't know what the trick is, but I know it's been done without lowering the object through the floor!

    If you do, then you know that in the short time the white cheets were up, it´s imposible to get an elefant to move the distance to the wall behind and so quite. I don´t know is this is fake or something but if it is they had to cut the film and then get the elefant away from there, no way they could had moved it in that short time...

      i read your comment and watched the video again and that is not what happens at all. theres no way that the elephant could run that fast because there isn';t anything behind the sheets for quite a long distance so i think that they just had a platform that sank beneath the pavement and then after its done, they throw the sheets overtop of the pavement so u can't see anything

I don't know how it's done and I'm not going to pretend how it's done , but its not "a digital trick" All I know is David Copperfield was doing this in '85.     Took them about a month to make an underground chamber... and you can hear the chopper from above, they help to make sure the elephant doesn't run away with cords.. and the ground where the elephant is standing sinks and is replaced by something else that looks like the rest of the road and nobody notices.
